Knights of Sant' Yago

Chartered In 1972 the Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Tampa’s rich Latin heritage and culture. Comprised of 250 of Tampa Bay area’s professional men, the Krewe of Sant’ Yago is represented each year by our El Rey (King) and his La Reina (Queen) and her Royal Court of Ladies In Waiting, Courtesans, pages, Attendants and a Royal Sword Bearer.

Illuminated Knight Parade

Saturday, Feb 13 - 7PM

The Knight Parade, presented by MOR, follows Tampa's annual Gasparilla celebration. The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago has hosted it every year since 1974, and it is considered the largest of its kind in the Southeast.

Becoming a Member of
The Krewe of Sant' Yago

The Krew of the Knights of Sant' Yago was chartered in Tampa in 1972. The membership is composed of professional men from around the Tampa Bay area. Membership is currently capped at 250 individuals. There is a also Ladies Auxiliary (Las Damas) that is made up of the spouses of Sant' Yago members.

Education Foundation

The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago supports their Education Foundation now in it’s 18th year; the mission of the foundation is to provide college scholorships and other educational enhancements for students at higher educational institutions in the State of Florida.
